Nearest major road is A67. Take the A67 Barnard Castle road from Darlington and the pumping station is located just past Broken Scar picnic area on the outskirts of the town.
Nearest railway station is Darlington station.
Arriva 75/76 buses stop immediately outside Tees Cottage pumping station, on Coniscliffe Road (A67).
