Shopping Centres

Darlington has two shopping centres, with a third on its way too! The large and airy Cornmill Centre has lots of high street name stores. They include Clarks, Early Learning Centre, WH Smiths, Waterstone's, and many more well known names.

For contemporary fashion and gifts choose: Au Naturale, Body Shop, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Republic, Top Shop and a large new Primark, all in this two storey centre, along with cafés and fast food outlets.

The smaller Queen Street Centre houses Next, Starbucks, several jewellers and other attractive independent shops.

Planned for 2010 is 'The Oval', a brand new shopping and leisure development for Darlington, which will boost its already dynamic shopping offer, when new flagship stores and leisure facilities will be added to the already superb Darlington shopping experience.
