Enjoy Darlington's many attractions including contemporary public sculpture, 'Art in the Yards': student art such as Clark's Stables located at the Skinnergate end of Clark's Yard (see image above) by up-and-coming young local artist, Alexander McDonald; the delightful and playful 'Market Cascade' and 'Life Pulse' by renowned artist Michael Pinski.

At the Arts Centre, discover the 'Threshold' water sculpture in brushed stainless steel, on the outdoor plaza area.  A little further afield at West Park, there are vast sculptural elements in a nature reserve setting.  At Morton Park, just on the Eastern edge of town, David Mach's majestic life size 'Train' sculpture, executed in thousands of household bricks, will astound you!
