Quality and standards you can trust are important to everyone, which is why all our accommodation is Visit Britain or AA inspected. It is independently assessed to specific stringent criteria, including the quality of the experience, services, facilities and décor to the current star and diamond ratings.

Use this handy star and diamond ratings guideline for a basic idea of what to expect:

1 star/diamond simple, practical, no frills
2 stars/diamonds well presented and well run
3 stars/diamonds good level of quality and comfort
4 stars/diamonds excellent standard throughout
5 stars/diamonds exceptional, with a degree of luxury
